The Young Artist Summer Experience
The sessions are taught primarily in English and/or Spanish but all nationalities are warmly welcome.

š Held in Julia Evangeliās studio in Benidoleig, students will explore drawing, painting, colour, composition, texture and creative techniques while developing confidence in their own unique artistic style.
š§° All basic materials are included, so thereās no need to buy anything special. Students are welcome to bring a sketchbook or any favourite art materials if they wish.

August Summer Painting Immersion

āØ Book individual days for ā¬55 each or the full 3-day immersion for ā¬150.
Rather than teaching everyone to draw and paint in the same way, the emphasis is on experimentation, self-expression and discovering what makes their artwork uniquely their own.
What Weāll Explore
Alongside practical skills, students will be encouraged to explore their own unique creative voice, whether they enjoy working from observation, photographs or imagination.
Expressive Drawing
Pencil, charcoal, chalk and oil pastels and pen. Have fun learning drawing fundamentals, shading, mark-making and creative expression.
Acrylics, Mixed Media & Texture
A playful and experimental day exploring acrylic paint, colour, texture, layering, collage, and mixed media techniques.
Day Three ā Oils
Young artists will explore how oils blend, move, layer, and create atmosphere and depth, while learning techniques rarely explored in schools or traditional art classes.
A rare opportunity for creative teens to work alongside a professional artist in a real studio environment.

What makes this different from a typical art class?
This is a small-group experience in a real working artist’s studio. Students will not only learn painting techniques but also gain insight into how a professional artist works, thinks and creates. The emphasis is on creativity, self-expression, confidence and having fun with art in a relaxed and inspiring environment.
Does my child need previous painting experience?
Not at all. The Summer Painting Experience is suitable for complete beginners as well as young artists who already enjoy drawing and painting. Activities are adapted to suit different experience levels.
What age is the course suitable for?
The course is designed for teenagers and young people aged 9+ years. If you are unsure whether it is suitable for your child, please get in touch before booking.
What language are the sessions taught in?
Sessions are taught in English and/or Spanish, depending on the needs of the individual. Julia Evangeli is fluent in both languages and can comfortably support students in either English or Spanish.
Are materials included?
Yes. All basic art materials are included in the course fee, so there is no need to purchase anything special beforehand.
What should my child bring?
We recommend comfortable clothing that can get a little messy, a water bottle, and plenty of enthusiasm. An apron can be useful, but is not essential.
What will students create?
Students will explore a range of expressive painting techniques and creative exercises over the three mornings. Every young artist will create their own unique artwork to take home.
Will my child be taught by a professional artist?
Yes. The course is led by professional artist and art coach Julia Evangeli, who has many years of experience teaching both adults and young people.
Are snacks provided?
Yes. Drinks and light snacks are provided during the mid-morning break. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking.
How many students will be in the group?
Places are intentionally limited to ensure plenty of individual guidance and a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. A maxium of 8 students in each session.
What happens if my child needs to cancel?
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date will receive a gift voucher for the full amount paid. Cancellations within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable. Please see the Terms & Conditions for full details.

The Summer Painting Experience takes place in Julia’s working artist studio in Benidoleig, Costa Blanca. A cool envirnoment to spend summer mornings.Full location details will be provided after booking.

ā¢ If you are unsure whether the course is suitable for your child, please contact Julia before booking.
Cancellations
ā¢ Cancellations made more than 14 days before the start date will receive a gift voucher for the full amount paid. This voucher can be used towards any future classes, workshops or teen painting experiences with Julia Evangeli and is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
ā¢ Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are non-refundable and non-transferable.
ā¢ If Julia needs to cancel the course for any reason, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
Attendance
ā¢ Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring students arrive and are collected on time.
ā¢ Students should attend all three sessions where possible to gain the maximum benefit from the experience.

Photography
ā¢ From time to time, photographs may be taken of artwork and studio activities for promotional purposes.
ā¢ No photographs of students will be used without parental consent.
Liability
ā¢ Reasonable care is taken to provide a safe and enjoyable environment.
ā¢ Parents or guardians are responsible for providing accurate emergency contact information and notifying Julia of any relevant medical conditions or additional support needs.
